
Mauritius is a parliamentary republic, the comprehensive economic corporation and partnership agreement was signed and entered into force on April between prime minister pravind Kumar Jugnauth Mauritius and Prime minister Narendra Modi the ministry said. it is an important milestone in trade and economic relations between India and Mauritius and strengthen regional trade relations in the Indian Ocean and on the African continent. it will promote and improve trade in goods and services as well as economic corporation between the two countries that already share cultural and historical ties.
The ministry of foreign affairs,regional integration & international Trade,the ministry of finance, economic planning and development and the economic development board in collaboration with the High commission of India launched CECPA Forum on 13 September 2022 at le Meridien, pointe aux piments Mauritius.
