Dussehra Celebration at Arwachin Public School, Sector 14 Vasundhara Ghaziabad

“India is known as a land of festivals and celebration, Dussehra is one of them which is unique in its perception and significance.”

Festivals are the period of celebration and bring peace and joy for everyone. They are an expressive way to celebrate glorious heritage, culture and traditions. Keeping the festive spirit alive, the students of Arwachin Public School, Sector 14 Vasundhara presented a beautiful chaupai on Lord Ram , which conveyed the message of victory of Lord Rama over Ravana and reinforced the message that good always triumphs over evil. The Music teacher of the school Mr. Hari Mohan sang a melodious bhajan for the audience.

To enhance the celebrations further , Arwachin Public School, Sector 14 Vasundhara Ghaziabad, organized fun filled and learning activities  for Dussehra celebration which included a role play by the little ones in which children were beautifully dressed up to play the role of their favourite mythological character from Ramayana. The children who enacted these roles were perfect in their poise, confidence and expression.

The Principle of the school Mr. Abhinav Sharma and Director of the school Dr. Sakshi Sharma conveyed their blessings through speech and also explained the significance of Dusshera Festival  along with Gandhi Jayanti which falls on 2nd October. Swachh Bharat Mission was also conducted at the school campus with Principal sir and director mam cleaning the lobby of the school to encourage students to keep their school and surroundings clean & Green thereby promoting “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”.

All the children enthusiastically participated and enjoyed the celebration. Thus the celebration not only enriched their learning but also made it memorable for our young Arwachins which will be cherished for a long time. The program ended with burning of  effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna and Meghanada.
