Justice for all, ‘Every citizen has the right to live with equal dignity’- District Judge Dr Babbu Sarang

                            In the programme, Azad Foundation witnessed an impact of the change in the Backward Classes and slums which was appreciated by the chief guest District Judge Dr Babbu Sarang, he said that social institutions have a great contribution in developing a good and strong society and the contribution of the institution in social public awareness works along with the District Legal Service is commendable. he explained about the powers of the National Lok Adalat and informed that Lok Adalat is an alternative platform for resolving disputes through compromise. The court fee paid in a case disposed of through an agreement in the Lok Adalat is returned. Adj first / nodal officer National Lok Adalat Manoj Kumar explained to the attendees how the judicial department performs social work and shared the objectives of DLSA.

Special guest Secretary District Legal Services Authority Mahendra Kumar described the easy and formal way of filing a suit in the National Lok Adalat so that the victim can get speedy justice. Professor Saeed Ali Nawaz zedi, from the Department of law, spoke very closely about Sir Syed’s vision education and judicial pursuit. Shazia Siddiqui, Secretary of the organisation, shared the social objectives of the organisation and explained the work being done on education and women empowerment and the necessary changes.
