Follow your dreams’ A dream doesn’t become reality through magic. It takes takes hard work, sweat and determination :Radhika Gautam


DELHI/MEERUT: Radhika Gautam does modeling as well as social work. A beauty pageant or beauty contest is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants, although most contests have evolved to also incorporate personality traits, intelligence, talent, and answers to judges’ questions as judged criteria. Fashion and Glam world are now emerging as a trend of sophistication among youth and women to show their inborn talent. Women are full of potential whether in house or at corporate world. They need opportunity to show case their caliber.  These views were expressed by a social activist and philanthropist Radhika Gautam.
      She is a model by profession and a title holder of many beauty pageants. She organizes events as well. Apart from these, she has also been running Elite Charitable Club in Meerut. Elite Charitable Club works for women empowerment and upliftment of special children. She wants to give equal platform to specially-abled children and to bring change in the society and the mindset of the people.  As she feels that these children should be treated equally because they don’t need Sympathy, but empathy, love and our time.
        She says that she was supported by her husband to participate in beauty contests and owing to his motivation she won many titles. She has been highly qualified and started career as teaching and then changed to social work.
        She thinks beauty pageants are strengthening skills, such as interpersonal communications, self-assurance, and public speaking, which prove to be useful in future career paths. In India, from 1996 to 2000, the personal care industry grew by 25% while the number of women applying for the Miss India competition increased from 1000 people in 1993 to 6500 people in 2001. Radhika Gautam will soon get felicitated by World Book of Records London for her contribution in social, cultural, educational and women empowerment fields. Presently working  in a Bollywood movie directed by Aparna sen, also done TVC’s for OPPO mobiles, Tata Sonata watches,  TVC For Delhi government Corona Awareness campaign, digital shoot for BMW Mini Cooper cars,  Govt of India Skill India Youth program and many more.
          Her husband Captain Sankalp Gautam supported her in making her dreams come true. Whenever he is off from his assignments at High Seas, he accompanies her for everything. After marriage it is difficult to cope without husband’s support, Dreams come true if fresh, with the support of parents,  husband &children. Radhika Gautam is achieving her milestone and is illuminating her and her family’s name.
