Karma Foundation celebrated the 74th Republic Day with great patriotic zeal and fervour. An open mic ‘देshmeरा’ was organised wherein people from multiple domains and age groups participated and expressed their feelings of patriotism via different forms of art.

The program was graced by the presence of Shri Vinit Goenka ji – BJP Delhi Spokesperson, Shri Krishan Kumar Gupta ji – Founder National Service Scheme, Shri Kumar Rakesh ji, Dr Amna Mirza ji, Mrs Vandana Jain ji and other eminent personalities.

Dhwani Jain, Founder KARMA Foundation welcomed the guests and highlighted on the power that is bestowed upon every Indian citizen by the Constitution. She highlighted that in a year when India has taken over the presidency of G20, it is an opportune moment to reestablish our nation as a Vishwa Guru and be the light to the world.

Shri Vinit Goenka ji called attention to the fact that the Indian constitution has the provision of amendment which makes it unique and special. He also stressed on the importance to take India forward in every sphere.

Krishan Kumar Gupta ji shared his journey as the 1st NSS volunteer and how the social sector has changed over the years.

Kumar Rakesh ji brought the focus of the audience on the rich cultural heritage of India.

Ms Nupur Agarwal from Pee Safe stressed on the importance of feminine hygiene in the amritkaal and on behalf of PeeSafe committed to provide sanitary products at a subsidised price to Karma Foundation.

Amb. Amarendra Khatua ji, Former Secretary – Govt. of India, who is the advisor of Karma sent a written message.

The youngest participant of the event, 6yrs old Chirag Mishra recited a beautiful poem and enthralled the audience. Other speakers included Megha Tyagi, Samaresh Shah, Shalini Dewan, Geetika Naveen, Braj Srivastava, Mahesh Giri, Mamta Verma, Preeti and the event was beautifully moderated by Gauri Wadehra. The program was culminated by the national anthem.

In the end, Dhwani Jain thanked Gandharva Wellness Studio and Dhaaga Culture on behalf of Karma family for their support to Desh Mera.
