Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) Historic : Dr. Jolly

South Delhi, 22nd May 2023: Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi had re-launched Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana  (PMBJP) in 2015. Millions of poor Indian citizens have benefited from it, claimed Senior BJP Leader Dr. Vijay Jolly.

PMBJP is a historic Central Govt. Health Scheme stated Dr. Jolly while inaugurating a Janaushadhi centre opened on Deoli Road located in South Delhi.

9188 Janaushadhi Kendras have been opened & selling 1759 generic medicines & 280 surgical items with a total sales worth Rs. 1094.84 crores revealed Dr. Jolly. Its aim is to “Supply Quality Medicines at Cheapest & Affordable Prices”. Under this scheme financial assistance of Rs. 2.50 Lakh is provided by Govt. of India. Any organization, NGOs, Trust, Private hospital, Charitable Institution, Unemployed Pharmacist or Individuals are eligible to open Janaushadhi Store. But they shall have to employ one B. Pharma / D.Pharma degree holder as a pharmacist, stated BJP Leader & Ex-MLA Delhi Dr. Vijay Jolly.
