Namrata Bhowmick crowned Queen of Substance 2023

 

Namrata Bhowmik, 25years old *Indie Royal Mrs. India Queen of Substance 2023* shared her journey with us. Namrata is a resilient, inspiring, kind-hearted at the same time a very strong person. By profession she is a psychologist and music therapist. She is attached to an NGO based CBSE school and with different old homes and clinics across Kolkata. She is also a singer and has won different awards in the field of music where the recently added is the Tagore Honor Award by Literoma. Her specialisation lies in Rabindrasangeet and Folk music. Being trained in classical music since childhood  has always excited her about the field of music therapy and after being a student of discipline of Psychology her interest more and she started gathering knowing about the healing aspects and methods of music therapy. She mainly works on children, geriatric adults, young couples, teenagers and and on children with special needs She loves writing poetry, songs, composing music, recitation and cooking.

Recently she have been perticipated in a beauty pageant show called Indie Royal Miss and Mrs India and she won the title of *Queen of Substance  2023* She also won the title of *Mrs Talented 2023* participating in IGlam Mrs Bengal 2023. She also won the title of *Mrs New Year 2023 1st runner-up* organised by Women Times.

She grew up as a child who did never fit into the conventional standards of beauty set by the society due to which has faced different difficulties but with time she overcame all those as she had a loving supportive family and friends. Now, being a mental health professional she deals with clients who are struggling with body image issues, low self-esteem, lack of confidence and the judgements from society. Her motive of participating in beauty pageants is that she wants to break these stereotypes of conventional standards of beauty and to be a voice, an inspiration and an example for all come up, stand for themselves and empower and pull up others without letting down. She believes beauty is in all forms, shapes and sizes; beauty is in our individuality and uniqueness, it lies in our inner self and inner strength to grow. Beauty is all about being real, being unapologetically you, accepting and being confident about our strengths and weaknesses and working on those. The other name of beauty is self love, believing in ourselves and being confident about our perfect imperfections.

Indie Royal MISS MRS INDIA 2023 powered by Tranistics Data Technologies Pvt Ltd & co powered by Little Hub with leading Radio & entertainment network Fever 104 FM conducted successfully and showcased THE POWER OF THE CROWN! with a concept of Be Goddess Save Planet. The event was aimed to acknowledge the change in Environment through display of corrective measures by Indie Royal Queens.
