Hello everyone, I’m Ruchi Mahajan, a 10-year-old residing in Mumbai, although my hometown is Chandigarh, Punjab. Today, I’d like to share my journey and struggles with you. When I was just 17 months old, my mother raised me in school as she noticed my exceptional talkative nature and I was also articulative. There, I participated in a group dancing competition and won in both categories. This marked the beginning of my collection of accolades and trophies, and I started participating in various shows. Impressed by my expressions and dancing abilities, everyone suggested that my mother should take me to Mumbai. Consequently, we relocated to Mumbai.

After our move, I began with small cameo appearances. Eventually, Mukesh Chhabra, a renowned casting director, selected me for a prominent role in the film “Bharat” alongside Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. This was my debut film. Following that, I worked as a lead artist in the television series “Yeh Teri Ghaliyan” on the Zee TV channel. I also had the opportunity to star in the web series “Bulbul” alongside Rahul Bose, a highly respected and senior actor. Additionally, I featured in a song for the film “Happy Heart” by Himesh Reshammiya. Subsequently, I ventured into the world of advertisements. I was also a part of the popular serial “Dil To Happy Hai Ji”, where I played the best friend of the main protagonist. The serial gained significant popularity. Additionally, I returned to “Yeh Teri Galliyan” as Rishton’s daughter.

During this time, I acquired 3 “Zee Connections”. However, the COVID-19 lockdown disrupted everything. As a result, new policies were implemented, prohibiting children under the age of 10 from working in the film industry. I returned to Chandigarh, completed my education, and now I’m back in Mumbai, pursuing my studies entirely through online means. You can expect to see me on the big screen very soon.
