
On 18th December 2023, at Prahladrai Dalmia Lions College of Commerce and Economics, B.A. in Multimedia and Mass Communication program in association with Patriot Cell and Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha- Ladies Wing organized “Jeet ka Jashn” to commemorate India’s victory in 1971 war.
The event was conducted with the support and blessings of our Chairman, Lion Dr. Sharad S. Ruia and our Trustee & Hon. Secretary, Lion Kanahaiyalal G. Saraf along with all distinguished members of the Governing Council.
The event was graced by the presence of Lion Dr. Prashant Patil, renowned Dr. Kishan. M. Lokhande, respected Dr. Commander Kumresh Sharma, Principal Prof. Dr. D.N. Ganjewar, Vice Principals, Dr. Madhavi Nighoskar and Ms. Subhashini Naikar, Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha Ladies wing President Dr. Archana Deshmukh and members Rajkumari Tiwari, Nidhi Iyer, Madhavi Gupta. The event was also graced with the presence of Mr. Upendra Panditji, Editor of Amardeep Newspaper.

The event began with blessings of Goddess Saraswati and lighting of Holy Lamp followed by ‘Sarawati Vandana’. To embark the event Principal Prof. (Dr.) D.N. Ganjewar gave introductory speech on the Vijay Diwas and enlightened students and felicitated the Guests with a token of appreciation. The Vice Principal of Self-Financed Courses, Ms. Subhashini Naikar shared her words of wisdom with students regarding our college’s Patriot Cell and she appreciated the efforts of the armed forces.
Our esteemed guests were felicitated with a memento, a Tulsi Sapling and handmade artworks. Our guests shared their rich life experiences with young minds and created a spirit of Patriotism amidst them.
From Dr. Kishan M. Lokhande Sir and respected Commander Dr. Kumresh Sharma Sir, all the students and people present in the auditorium got to know some good unheard inspiring stories of the war. Their social work and patriotism is truly inspiring for everyone in the society.
Lion Dr. Prashant Patil as a civilian explained the history of the 1971 war. Sir with his enthusiasm informed everyone in the auditorium about the story of Kargil war and ignited the flame of patriotism among everyone.
Dr. Archana Deshmukh shared her experience and perspectives about social work and their love for Our Nation. Everyone took a moment of silence in remembrance of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country. All the students and people present at the venue got to know some good unheard inspiring stories of war.

The phrase that stuck with everyone was “Freedom is not given, it’s taken”. The team of teachers showed us what corporation truly means and the way the students were so enthusiastic makes us feel reassured about their love and respect for Our beloved India and freedom fighters.
Our B.A.M.M.C. Coordinator, Ms. Akanksha Mangavkar gave a vote of thanks with a wonderful quote by the great freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose that “Freedom is not given, it’s taken”. And the program ended with “NATIONAL ANTHEM”.
