LOCAL WOMAN SHINES IN MRS. BILBAO PAGEANT

Oksana Zubriev, a 51-year-old Bilbaína at heart and native of Ukraine, has made history by winning the Mrs+30 Bilbao title in the 50+ category. Not only did she impress the judges with her talent, but she also received the 3rd Prize in the Talent Show and was crowned Mrs. Elegance.

This achievement is all the more remarkable considering Oksana’s background. A single mother to a 14-year-old son, Oksana has built a life in Bilbao over the past 25 years. With a career spanning the hospitality industry, entrepreneurship, and tourism, Oksana has always been driven by a passion for people and community.

As a local tour guide and tour escort, Oksana shares her love for the city with visitors from around the world. Her work as an employment coordinator for the Euskrania–Ukraine SOS Association further demonstrates her commitment to building bridges between cultures.

For Oksana, participating in the Mrs. Bilbao pageant has been a thrilling experience. “I’m passionate about everything that helps us grow as individuals: joy, well-being, beauty… and this pageant brings all of that together,” she says.
