PUNE: We Be Events is a full service event management company which is a brainchild of Ms Vrinda Bhandari incepted in 2016. She along with Mark Stevens are committed to see each event through while keeping client needs in mind at all times. Having organised beauty pageants, fashion shows, makeup competitions, flea markets, cultural events and tournaments etc, We Be Events has experienced it all. As Vrinda says ‘No event is too big or too small for us to handle.’ We bring in the best from established event management companies and organize some of the most out-of-the-box events in the city.
The ‘Reel Rising Star Contest Season 1’ organised by We Be Events and Wizetron was one of such events which had a tremendous response and was certainly enjoyed by everyone involved. The participants had a lot of talent to show off and we can say that everyone gave it their absolute best. In our books everyone is a winner! The judges for this online event were Mohd Iqbal and Lovell Prabhu and Sahil Sah. A huge thank you to our special guests Moodytomboy and Padhal Parvez. Fancy Dress Our ‘We Be Fancy Dress Online Competition’ Season 5 was another hit. The season, before which had than 100 participants. We got to admit, the costumes and, preparations made by the parents and kids was absolutely amazing. The judges for, this competition were as follows: Padhal Parvez – Age Category 1-3, Yamini Jain (Yum) – Age Category 3-5 and, Moodytomboy – Age Category 6-10. Winners: Age Catrgory 1-3 Years, 1st place: Nirvaan Bansal, 1st Runner Up: Labdhi Gandhi, 2nd Runnner Up: Abhyuday Mishra, Special Prize: Sarah Shaikh, Winners: Age Catrgory 3-5 Years, 1st place: Ananya Mankar, 1st Runner Up: Fareeda Tambuwala, 2nd Runnner Up: Uzair Khan, Special Prize: Aliasgar, Winners: Age Catrgory 6-10 Years, 1st place: Yasmeen Saboowala. 1st Runner Up: CH Riyansh, 2nd Runnner Up: Hiral Thakkar, Special Prize: Shagun Bakrole
Having organised multiple makeup competitions in the past, taking the event online with the ‘We Be Online Makeup Competition Season 7’ this time around was a different experience altogher. But yet again, we had the pleasure of having some extremely talented makeup artists who participated for this competition. The work presented was truly amazing and we were pleasantly surprised with the level of precision and detail the artists brought to the table. Our esteemed Judge for this competition was Kalyani Umrani, one of the best in the beauty industry! Here are the results of the competition (category-wise) Bridal Theme, 1st place: Varsha Pardeshi, 1st Runner Up: Kajal Jain, 2nd Runnner Up: Varsha Pardeshi (second look), Cocktail Party Theme, 1st place: Suvarna Kamble, 1st Runner Up: Monali Sarode. 2nd Runnner Up: Mohini Pathare, Fantasy Theme, 1st place: Narayanee Bhujbal, The participants also included Mohini Nilesh Pathare, Manju Kataria, Suvarna Kamble from the Bridal theme. Shifali Kataria, Babli Mandal and Sharayu Rahul Ingle from the Cocktail theme and Kajal Vijayakumar Jain from the Fantasy theme. These talented makeup artists certainly made the judging tougher than it already was. Amazing work was shown by each artist through this competition. We wish the participants all the very best for their future endeavors.
Recognising and giving a platform to grow and be appreciated is what we try to provide through our events and the ‘Icons of Pune Award 2021’ was one of them with celebrity guest Pritam Singh. With more than 60 awardees, it truly was a grand event! Having done Celebrity Photoshoots with Actor Rahul Roy, registrations are open for photoshoots with Actor Pritam Singh and Varsha Usgaonker.
