NOIDA: Calligraphers Meetup organised by Indian Calligrapher’s Society (ICS) at Noida Haat on 24th Sep 2021 ((Picture caption)

          ICS, an initiative lead by Raghunita Gupta and Sonali Mehta to bring all the Indian Calligraphy artists on board. It aims to build a strong calligraphy community that will take and document the Indian scripts to global level. The community is supported by renowned Calligraphy artists including. Shri Achyut Palav (Devnagari and Modi lipi), Shi Manish Soni (Pointed Pen Scripts),  Inku kumar (Devnagari and Roman), Shri Ashok Parab.

                 The meet at Noida Haat was attended by almost 20 Calligraphers of Delhi NCR, wherein they exchanged a lot of ideas of different calligraphy scripts, new tools and also live demonstrations were given by Calligraphy masters for Calligraphy enthusiasts. The event was also supported by renowned Calligraphy artists of Delhi NCR including Inku kumar, Tanvi Saraiya,  Dr. Yogendra Velicharla Mukesh Kumar and  Shweta Moorpana, This is the beginning of a mammoth of a task to spread calligraphy awareness and take Indian Calligraphers on World Map.
