Vasundhara Blessing Foundation on 25th September organized world summit on theme “Prospects of Strategic Implementation Model of SDG: Opportunities & Challenges”, Anniversary of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals brings us closer to 2030 agenda. The SDGs can provide councils with a framework for strategic planning, policy review and action for sustainable development – for economic progress, social justice and inclusion, protection of the climate, environment and biodiversity. SDG main purpose is ensuring no one is left behind. Dr. Sunita Pachar Founder & President of VBFT said their organization Promoting Global Visionary Leadership through SDG & CSR .She said if we are to achieve all of the Sustainable Development Goals, more needs to be done. Sustainable development is largely about people, their well-being, and equity in their relationships with each other, in a context where nature-society imbalances can threaten economic and social stability. The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it. There is dire need that now all stakeholder must come forward to join hands together to achieve SDG 2030 for better future.
Dr. Mona Nargolwala Sr. Advisory member VBFT discussed that we should improve Training & Capacity Building & Community Outreach Initiatives for sustainable future. Mainstreaming Sustainability Agenda in Education to promote and address social and environmental challenges with Sustainable Long term Initiatives and solutions. She further focused on the Building Strong Institutions, promoting peace and justice and unlocking the Partnership Potential for collaborative. Value based constructive public private partnerships will facilitate better commitment to UNSDGs and bring us closer to addressing 2030 Global Sustainability Agenda. Dr. Anil Jaggi CEO -Conscious Ventures believes Sustainable development is the pathway to the future we want for all. Contributions and Leadership is called from the Corporate, NGOS, Educational Institutions particularly Universities, Colleges, Schools, Academia and Research & Development Organizations.
Dr. Rajat Sharma, Chairman UNACCC.ORG, National Strategic Advisor for UPEACE by UN discussed their organization contribution in SDG and he mentioned four pillars of sustainability; Human, Social, Economic and Environmental. He discussed that corporate sector and civil society initiatives as a Vital Stakeholder with huge potential to contribute in areas of UNSDGs Awareness, Research & Development.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or Global Goals are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed to be a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all”. Prof Dr Manoj Kumar Mishra Vice President British American University Florida & Hony Secretary Forum for Interdisciplinary Research Methods focused on quality education system .He said by providing skill development related education many issues like unemployment can be resolved .
Paramjeet Kaur Dhillon Principal at Kamla Nehru Public School discussed their achievements in COVID time, how they have initiated technology innovation for rural area students for their better education and overall development
Dr. Jayanta Choudhury, Associate Professor, NIRDPR-NERC, Guwahati focused on Local SDG ,he said SDG should be responsibility of all individuals and state government should contribute in a better way to achieve national targets .He focused on Vocal for local initiatives .
Ms. Rania Lampou Global Educator, STEM instructor from Greece focused on initiatives like Connecting environmental and STEM Education. She focused on re-orientation of current education for better and sustainable future.
Mr. Amujuri Biswanath Director, Green Care Society India focused on Digital India Challenges & Solutions relevance for better networking.
Mr. Parin Makadia Parin Makadia, CEO ISO 20400Plus Ltd, UK, Sr. Advisory member VBFT discussed on sustainable procurement & supply chain and its relevance for Corporate to making world sustainable.
Ms. Shanoli Ray, Principal, SJPS, Haldia, shared her views on SDG opportunities for better development of the country
Speakers & Panelist from all over the world participated in this Summit and they shared many Issues related with SDG opportunities, its future prospects and challenges. Insightful discussions and rich takeaways from enlightened Panelists and Speakers from the World Summit on Sustainable Development Goals with global participants.
